haha, I'll start with 8August.
It was way embarrassing cause the parade had lots of hiccups. With the scouts, guides, StJohn, npcc, ncc and what not. oh, didn't I just name every UG? lol. We became crazy after that. We yelled, sang, screamed and jumped. As if the school steps were the dance floor! We sang louder than the choir man. LOL then at the finale, the UGs went in front of the stage and acted like motivators. Really fun haha. yea, so Jan, Fran and I did An All American thing. Went to hougang mall and waited of one and a half hour for the Gelare to open. We were famished then and we decided to ren. haha. We saw lots of people and even saw my chinese teacher's wife. He waved at me on the escalator. hahaha. I went up to meet the Amy, Pris, Angie, Calynn, Wynee, Minxin and Valerie mdm for the souvenir thing.
I went back down after I was done signing to eat. Rented "shall we dance?" at the store. We grabbed Final Destination 3 but it was rated M18. urgh, they checked in with the I/c so couldnt you know, fake it. We went in NTUC and I bought jollyshandy with my guides u and Jan and Fran with their school uniforms. LOL
We turned back and bought chips and decided on barcadis-breezer and 2 more cans of jollys. haha! We got through. Are they insane or what. Anyways, we chose the Auntiest cashier la. haha. We walked back to my house satisfied and we blasted at my house until like 4 when Zhiyan, Charlene and Zhihui came to do project. Wynee came later. They all stayed for my brother's bday dinner. WESTERN! haha. It was funny cause we started taking lots and I mean lots of photos on my stairwell and the food laid on the table. What a spread. haha. Ironically, only one of my bro's friends came and there were 6 of mine. Whose birthday was I talking about, huh? hahaha. Yea, we started photo-whoring lol. My brother came back and the girls surprised me by singing the birthday song. He was all smiles and obviously, shocked. We started eating and all after they were almost ready. Aunty Anne came too. So there was Welna, Dad, Mom, Jer, MaoDe; actually Gerald, 7 of us. Fran said my maid's cooking was great. (: haha. yea, had bday cake around 9.45 and then we forced me brother to sing the phantom of the opera. When he reached the high note and all, Zhihui, Zhiyan's mouths went agape. LOL! Well, too bad he didnt warmup or do the range thing. I swear they will bang their heads on the wall in acknowledgement. LOL.
9August, DAD & MOM's anniversary! Happy national day!
Got up pretty early, went for the rehearsals and all. Angie got in! (: Amy didn't expect me to actually ask the sir whether she could get in the contigent. Well, we made minor blunders here and there. It was an eye-opener seeing the president, ministers and all. Almost everyone clad in red. Ambience was good although the jets were loud, I didn't fall back because of the pressure. Maybe my body's already immune after the tons of rehearsals. We suppered and caught a glimpse of the firworks. I heard there was a proposal on air. SO ROMANTIC. LOL. Amy, Angie and I went for a breather at around 3.30pm. We told Suki mdm that we were going to the toilet and then we went and after that, strolled along the pavement. The breeze was so nice. The scenery and a Guardofhonour taking professional photographs. They were so sauvé. We said," If anyone sees us down here we'll just take off, okay?" Then we looked over the bridge, wanted to cross over and then we saw two adorable girls with red shirts and white shorts, wearing sunglasses around 3 and 5 years old. They took pictures with the cardboard cow. Angie wanted to run over and carry them and ask for a picture. haha. Then, Angie grabbed us and said, "Alsagoff, hide!" LOL. It was so hilarious. Angie squated, Amy next and then they dragged me down. We were covered by the bushes. Then she was walking nearer. Angie said," Quick, crawl over the other side of the bush." I laughed and stood them up and Miss Alsagoff did saw us. I told them to walk back and pretend nothing happened. We walked until the steps and looked back and agreed to run, like now. LOL. We were panting back there. hahaha. Valerie mdm, Amy, Wynee and I took bus back after Macdonald's at j8. Amy, Val mdm and I took the mrt. Amy toook to Boonkeng while we took the other side. We were suay enough to have the train to stop a while on us. We waited like ten minutes in kovan. The train lagged, literally and acted all strange. haha.
10 August
Today, I slept till 10. First time I slept for 8 and a half hours in months! ((:
Charlene was downstairs and I dragged her to Hougang mall at 12.15pm. Met Janice and Charmaine and Zhihui. Went to rent discs, Aquamarine, the exorcist III, shutter. 2 of which are NC16. Surprisingly, we got through. Seems like we did lots of "illegal" things these hols. Ate at food court and went to NTUC for chips. We bought Sparkling white grape juice, 6 jollys, 3 bags of chips and my pocky! haha. We jammed at my house again. We brought out the wine glasses and started the movie marathon. Aquamarine was nice, quite touching. "Why love? cause love's the closest thing to magic" So sweet. We worked on the proj after movie number 2 and when movie number3, the exorcist came on. I fast forwarded and shut it off. Boring especially when it was filmed probably in the '80s. LOL! Had a fruitful chat with Welna. Tomorrow, we're going Toa Payoh for the set-up for saturday's presentation den we're going to watch the fireworks we missed on the actual day. Did I mention? Wynee, Pris and I talked to one of the commandos. GOD, I LOVE THEIR UNIFORMS. haha. (:
