And so Anthony Chia was taken home to be withthe Lord on 30 September 2008, 0316.3.16, coincidentally, it's John 3:16, yeye's favourite verse of the bible "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son so that whoever believes in him shall be saved."Yknow, sometimes when we take things for granted andprocrastinate, thinking that there'll always be tomorrowto let someone know how you felt, you're wrong.Last Sunday, our entire family gathered and sang hymnsand prayers, decades of the rosary, he fluttered his eyelidsopen and close. And though it was heartwrenching to seehim in pain, suffering and in tears, whether he's touched by the Spirit of God or by his family, his agony wasnecessary to prepare him for today, his passing.It was quite a ride today I must say. I had a Bio Mcq examtoday which I thought I could wake up to 5 to go thru' alittle, I woke up with the sms from Charmaine about hisdeath. And to think I couldn't sleep last night at all,but for all a different reason, I was excited. So I got up and couldn't concentrate on my booksanymore, and went straight to yeye's at 6.I heard about how peaceful his passing was, tears turned into joy and I tell you, I've never cried ever since!How wonderful is it to have the Spirit descent upon you,and you calling the name of the Lord before your lastbreath? "Let the little children come to me"Indeed, his face was one of a child's when he passed on,so childlike and precious, like that of Mother Teresa's.After the exam, we went to Fish&Co to celebrate Regina's 18th. She had to stand and holda sparkler while everyone sang her the b'day song. Theentire episode was hilarious!Charmaine and I left the wake at 11 plus and celebratedFangyuan's 17th. Our Japanese cousins,Eri and Mitsutake, are kinda likecompletely oblivious to what's happening. They're soyoung! Cheryl said that Jer even rode the bike around mama's coffin some 13 years ago and we were screamingand playing catching just beside.What a lot to experience in a day!Well, he's with the Lord now and he'd tell mama Isaid hi. Thank you all for your condolences, may God blessand keep your family knitted!It's the first time in 13 years I'd attend a close relative's wake.
Mourning clothes plus the cloth patch pinned on your left.
The cousins and I were just joking about how we, the
Black coloured ones were higher ranked than those blue
coloured ones. And Jeremy, being the eldest male, who's
considered to be the deceased's youngest son, has the
white one, the highest. Not to mention, a new fashion,
Ah-pek flip flops. Hahaha, okay, I'm gonna turn in now.
Tomorrow's gonna be a long day.
Granted at 2:00 AM

Tomorrow is not a promise; but a chance.
Psalm 105:4-5 (NIV)
"Look To The Lord And His Strength;
Seek His Face Always.
Remember The Wonders He Has Done."
1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at.
Man looks at the outward apperance, but the Lord looks
at the heart."
1 Corinthians 15:19 (NIV)
"If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are
to be pitied more than all men."
1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13
"Love is patient and kind;
it is not jealous or conceited or proud;
love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritatable;
love does not keep a record of wrongs
love is not happy with evil,
but is happy with the truth.
Love never gives up;
and its faith, hope and patience never fail."
"Meanwhile these three remain:
faith, hope and love;
and the greatest of these is love."
