Impressions, it's a scary thing to have left some.
It's even scarier to have formed none.
Troubled, worry for the world.Bleak, it's what's around me.Salvation, always on my mind.The Lord, never left my side.Travel, broaden your horizonsLimits, don't narrow existing ones.For one, no man's an islandOblivious, others, or the one?Faith, keep it inBelieving, what makes it going.Love, the two beating as one.Forever, it's a gonna be a long, long way.As it approaches, we look back at those dreary days,
looking at the world through mist, what else could be seen?
A comforting gesture, a soft look, a sensitive word,
an assuring smile.
Through the eternal flame, the rays of what was long gone
and forgotten, we remember, oh , how we do!
When Death left all of us behind, it wasn't without any
other reason.
Pain no more, grieve no more!
For he has long gone into the Lord's house, into his arms,
and waiting for all of us when the day comes;
Until angels close my eyes,
in loving memory.
