"Fix your eyes on him"
I was just thinking about what Ivan said during
youth camp last year,
"Cling to Jesus"
Indeed, "Amen, Amen I say to you,
fix your eyes on him and you'll never go astray.
Cling to him and you'll never be lost.
Trust him and you'll never lose faith.
Believe, because it's beautiful.
Lord, it is only in isolation and desolation
Lord, it is only when in doubt and fear
Lord, it is only when blinded and filled with angst
Do we think of someone who died for the world and
gave himself as an abundant free gift
You're so patient
You knock the door and wait for us to open it
You always let us choose
You're there when we make our choices
Often, we fail to hear your soft prompting
Teach us then dear Jesus
To be open and to love
