Confirmation camp was so rock-the-socks man!
HAHA
Okay, here it goes:
THURDAY, 7 JUNE
We met up at 7.30am at MacDonald's and saw Huxian
and Linda having breakfast. She haven't completed her
chemistry assignment due that day. LOL
Miss TBC was queueing for hotcakes coincidentally.
Gareth, Eugene chua, Nicholas Heng, Oliver, Janice,
Charmaine and I went to get breakfast before the
other Eugene came. Mrs Ganesan and Miss Angeline
saw us and asked us what we were we doing there so
late for school already. "Church camp!"
After we filled out stomachs, we wanted to go to school
to spike our schoolmates because we did not have
to sit in for gruelling hours of lessons. (I guess)
Instead, Oliver took his pack of cards out and we
played on the Mac's tray. Someone asked "Later Mr
Anba walk past see how?!"
Eugene replied" Later Anba come and play ar!"
"Nvm la! We're playing Lord of the Rings wad! (as of
the cards cover)
HAHA
We were supposed to assemble by 8.45 at the Catholic
Spirituality Centre. We left at around 9. Opps!
Amanda called me and said" WE'RE NOT SAME
GROUP AND BUNK LEH!"
"HUH! CHARMAINE AND JANICE LEH?!"
LOL
Reached there, were damn late but everyone was
checking out/in their dorms and I chose the bed
that was across the couch. Charmaine had hers
in the lower bunk of a double-deck beside mine.
Janice, was in room 5 but since their room was
packed as of a sardines' can, she came over and
took the upper bunk of char's double-deck.
Cool! Imagine fooleratives sleeping together.
Went down for ice-breakers in the main room.
My group, 6's facils were Susanna and Nathaniel,
who came during lunch. My group members:
includes Carrie, Charmaine, Henry, Nicholas,
Kristopher, Jeremiah, Jonathan and myself.
I was always called because Susanna only can
remember my name -.- since I know her
since I was back in primary 5. Well, we played
the "arrange yourself on chairs" game. And
damn, I couldn't get to the front in time because
I'm a March-baby and had to do forfeit with 2
other guys. Sebby, Mr Australia joined us with
our chicken dance. LOL. Looks like China
and Downunder's having a truce. yea man.
Played the "animal-aminated-action" game
next, combined with Sebby's group. Guess what
animal I chose! CRAB! LOL
Charmaine was cat and I started a wrong action
for hers and she had to live with it for the rest
of the game. I did the 招财猫 action and how
they laughed! HAHA Charmaine was cursing
at me hilariously cause she had to do that
retarded action of the rest of the game. Estella
was a goat and since we couldn't come up with
any apt action, cause only sheeps baa (come to
think of it, goats mehhh meh? Oh yea hor! LOL)
So I showed them a "milking goat action".
Walao, they cracked up and Sebby said," Jelena!
Go see a school counsellor la you!" HAHA
Sebastian wanted to sabotage me for forfeit
during the last round. In the end, the girls
formed an alliance and sabo-ed him! He had
to go up to the microphone to say "Ladies and
gentlemen, I've got something to say.. I am gay!"
LOL. Everyone requested an Encore! LOL
We had praise and worship and stood on the
chairs! After that was a session by the group
from the church of Our Lady Star of the Sea in
Yishun. Jamie gave a talk and Father JJ wrapped
up before our lunch. Jamie mentioned something
on the Oprah Winfrey show and I told Amanda
"I'm back.... I'm back" on the Hallmark channel.
She said." yayaya! LOL"
Father JJ really made me
miss Father J Bosco even more! LOL They both
crack audiences up really well. During lunch,
Fooleratives shared my plate for lunch. We
borrowed a fork from Amanda. We took
Honeydew sago and were amused by the sago
of different colours. Some had tails also! Talk
about having the lesson on male gametes
fresh in your mind from Bio lessons, we said
"Hey! I want that! Give me the sperm." LOL
We went for second round of dessert.
Amanda and I took our ball of fruit and said
"Cheers!" We took a sago sperm next and
said "Cheers", clicking our spoons. Guess what.
My sperm fell onto her spoon. Damn. LOL
The session next was by Adel, which was
very interesting. How is combined marketing
tatics with our Lord. Eugene, a Paul-twohill
wannabe shared on his experience. Again,
Fr JJ wrapped the session up. We played
Treasure hunt next. Gosh, how Carrie, Char
and I ran. Bathed and had to go to the main
room for mass at 6.15pm. Intially, we over-
estimated ourselves and commented when
we saw the toilet cubicles "The shower and
toiletbowl same cubicle, the shower slant towards
the toiletbowl, we have to stand on top of the bowl
to bathe la! Then we can see the heads bobbing out
from the cubicles while bathing. LOL"
In the end, cannot even see and no need to stand
cause the shower head can be adjusted and we
aren't that tall :X
After mass, was dinner but since we had SDVP
meeting in church opposite at 8pm, we couldn't
join them for dinner. I told Nicole to meet us
there since she took her food already. I finally
found out who Juan is already! Kristopher
from my group! -.- Kristopher Juan. Well, I told
him to follow Nicole and be at st Joseph's dying
aid by 8pm. When fooleratives were about to
run out of csc to head to 401 for chicken wings
before 8 (it was around 7.45 then), Colin came up
to us with Doug and said "We got to go now?"
"eh, yea." THEN ROBOCOP came. Lucy said" No
going out. Oh yea, St Vincent De Paul. Okok,
quickly go" But the twins took their food already
so I asked them to follow Nicole. They didn't
know who Nicole and Juan were so I had to
point them out to Colin. The funny thing was,
after one of the sessions earlier, I had to inform
the auxillary members about this meeting so
I saw one of the Sim brothers and told him.
Jan, Char and I didn't know how to ask him at
first cause we couldn't figure out whether he
was Colin or Douglas. After I told him about
the meeting, he said," Okay, you sms me on the
time to meet later." I said" Okay, eh. So you are
Colin or Douglas?" I think he wanted to laugh,
but said," Oh, Colin. I'm Colin." LOLOLOLOL!!
Char and I bought 2 wings, Jan bought a fish
burger and 3 of us milo pengs. We chionged
to finish in 7 mintues. Twins, Nicole and Juan
couldn't come out because CLARA didn't allow.
I did the nasi lemak thing. wth, hahaha.
We came in at 8.25 and they haven't even start
session proper. -.- Colin were looking out for us
when we came in. I went over and told him the
details and all. The session was very meaningful.
Lights were off with the light from the powerpoint
only. Basins with 3 floating candles were lined at the
doors for the reconciliation and affirmation session,
where you bring someone or a group up to
reconcile or affirm them and pray. We reflected
on the Love Paragraph by St paul (you can see the
passage once you enter my blog) and Cristalbelle
pulled me up. She spoke first and I was so touched,
I cried a lot, when it was my turn, she cried too.
I hugged and kissed her on the cheeks. Then,
fooleratives went up. I spoke first. Jan and Char
were crying. haha den we hugged. I went to find
Wynee and hugged her. I think she knew that
we were gonna have something out from that
session to have us reconciled. She just kept
crying when I hugged her. A few moments later,
Susanna, with Nicholas behind her said,"Jelena,
he wants to say something to you. He's very
nervous." So he talked to me and I told him
stuff. He smsed me to say thank you. I guess
I pulled him out of him being ruminative
somehow. I thank God that the Lord used me to relieve
someone's doubts. I saw fooleratives, Eugenes, Gareth
and Oliver staring when we were talking. lol
Then, Crissy, Annabelle, Wynee and I went up. We
huddle together and remind ourselves on the fun
we've had ever since we knew each other when we're

It was a real heavy night spiritually and emotionally
for some of us. And we had to wake up at 4.30am the
next day! -.- Earliest hour I've seen in camps sia.
eh eh, you think our bunk will follow the after 12
go to bed, honeys order? LOL No way! It's a once
in a life-time confirmation camp! It's gotta be bonding
and way, way fun! Well, Annabelle, Cristalbelle and I
went over to Sebby's bunk. (Although guys and girls
can't go over to each other's dorms, they were facils.
ahhh! lol)
FRIDAY, 8 JUNE
We goofed in there and sang Betina a B'day
song at 12mn. She had bashed by a pillow. lol
Went up after that. We played cards and were
being super mean but hilarious! We imitated CLARA
pretty loudly. We had plans to go down in the wee hours
of the morning but 2 cathetists, one purple (Aunty Joe)
and one green (CLARA) stood guard the main door
by sleeping on the floor in the main hall. Shit, totally.
LOL There was this once, Jan, Char, Annab, Crissy and I
went out and tried to escape. I saw CLARA's eyes
flutter open and quickly ask them to run to the toilet.
Annabelle crawled behind the couch and went to open
the door. Fruitless attempt because CLARA voice came
on next "where to you think you're going?" Annab
couldn't contain her laughter and said," Take drinks"
HAHA. She shooed us back to our rooms. So our
bunk: Jasmine Low, Germaine, Betina, Carrie, twins,
fooleratives Desiree. How we laughed! Then
we discussed and made fun of their sleeping positions.
"How CLARA breathe man?" LOL
So, we came up with 3 alternatives.
1. from the toilet's gate that will lead to the spiral staircase
and into the 'kitchen' area. (But, locked.)
2. from the main door, of course.
3. from our own room!
We've got a door leading to the corridor from our own
room must it was really difficult to open. Annabelle and
I unlocked it by lifting the barrier but it was stuck.
So we need to push the door really hard only. But the
noise will arouse suspicions. LOL But nvm, CLARA will
always knock twice before checking on us. We were the
only room so noisy. Everyone else's lights were off and
quiet. Char and Jan managed to unlock the door. And
when they did, we squealed and lmao-ed. I caught
the act on video! Lucky us, I bought my camera. LOL
So, 8 of us sneaked out. Jasmine and Germaine stayed
in the room. Annabelle said " If we got caught, say we
went out you never say anything." But she won't know
where we got out from! LOL
We went down and played some games like zhong ji mi ma.
Self serviced ourselves for milo, biscuits and water.
"Nvm la. Scold us for what. Then wad's our $35 for?"
A group of guys and Clement, an assistant cathetist were
there too. Then, Carrie, Betine & Desiree went up.
5 of us went to the adoration room. It was so beautiful.
We went up eventually too. We had footsteps and each of
us hid behind a pillar. To find out it was water splattering
onto the roof. -.- We called our escape PRISONBREAK
LOL Prison break 3 man.
got in by the secret door and charmaine, janice and I shared
ONE bed (lower bunk of double decker), twins shared
my bed, Jasmine and Germaine shared one bed, the other
3 girls shared 2 beds. Whoa, our room sharer sia.
Jan and I slept for 45 min from 3.45 to 4.30am. We
kept laughing and shook the bed because of our laughter.
Poor charmaine, who wanted very much to sleep. hahaha
Woke up at 4.30am, went punggol park at 5.10am, and
imagine more than 100 people there sitting at the fitness
area listening to calm music and appreciating nature
as Jamie read Genesis. Well, a lot of people hung their
heads and put their hands together in prayer.
Supposedly! So many people were sleeping!
Daryl Bong had his mouth open a little also! LOL
I've more than 6 mosquito bites. I was rubbing
my legs the whole time. Went back at aaround 6.30am
for breakfast. They gave us till 9 till the next session
starts. Charmaine crashed the bed while Jan and I
bathed then went for breakfast though we didn't want
to intially bit I heard there wad prata! woo!
Guess what I ate. I GG after the second one but I
continued. LOL
I ate THREE prata, 2 spoonfuls of beehoon, 3/4
mini hashbrown PLUS the sides of french toast.
OMG hahahaha. Well, we ate 2 chicken wings
for dinner last night remember? LOL
I rolled the prata up like crepe with the curry
inside and chomped it. lol
We had a session by Jamie and then lunch!
I still ate you know. LOL
We crashed at the guy' bench and then Oliver
and I were playing the 成语 game alphabetically
because he didn't agree that my chinese was better
than his.
Oliver asked what's bitch in chinese.
Gareth and Janice said "母狗" Then oliver
repeated after them, "eh, 木狗"
Then, we took our almond cocktail.
I kope Oliver's longan but to OUR dismay, the
longan fell on the table. lol
Oliver said when i came back," you ask my mother
to scoop for you right?"
"NO, your mom scoop for me she asked me whether
I wanted more longan or almond!!!"
And then fr fred and his team had a session.
Parents were there and then there
was praying over. We went for pentential service
and read the letter written by our parents.
I cried already when I read the first line! LOL
I told Oliver," You've got a beautiful mother
(Aunty Sharon)" He read till the second page,
he wiped his face on his sleeve. Cry liao.
"Are you okay?" haha.
Then we sang this song while tears kept
streaming down your face. The marvels of the Lord.
Then is was sharing. Arnold got called by Fr Fred.
Then he had to call another person of the opps sex.
Nicole Samuel. Then she called Jeremiah. Then
Jeremiah pointed at me and said,"my group one la.
I don't know her name" LOL Fr Fred say," Jelena la.
Okay, Jelena come up." haha. I can't imagine I cried
while sharing. Well, if you were looked at by tens of
parents and hundred over people, yea.. lol
I said," Last night..." The the PRISONBREAKers
laughed so loudly. I said laughed too and said," no, no
not that one. Not prison break"
Then I called oliver, He cried at the end at his sharing
and he zao sia-ed. Charmaine was called by him and
she cried too. LOL then fr Fred called Aloysius and
Aloy said "I'm not gonna cry.." LOL
After break camp, we took pictures and fooleratives
headed to 401 for wings and milo again. Jan left
and Amanda(s) were there. haha. Yep, that's
my wonderful, beautiful, FULL of life and love
confirmation camp! What a pity it's only 2D1N
when we were just about to get to know people,
break camp le. haha. This is my longestest post btw!

got in by the secret door and charmaine, janice and I shared
ONE bed (lower bunk of double decker), twins shared
my bed, Jasmine and Germaine shared one bed, the other
3 girls shared 2 beds. Whoa, our room sharer sia.
Jan and I slept for 45 min from 3.45 to 4.30am. We
kept laughing and shook the bed because of our laughter.
Poor charmaine, who wanted very much to sleep. hahaha
Woke up at 4.30am, went punggol park at 5.10am, and
imagine more than 100 people there sitting at the fitness
area listening to calm music and appreciating nature
as Jamie read Genesis. Well, a lot of people hung their
heads and put their hands together in prayer.
Supposedly! So many people were sleeping!
Daryl Bong had his mouth open a little also! LOL
I've more than 6 mosquito bites. I was rubbing
my legs the whole time. Went back at aaround 6.30am
for breakfast. They gave us till 9 till the next session
starts. Charmaine crashed the bed while Jan and I
bathed then went for breakfast though we didn't want
to intially bit I heard there wad prata! woo!
Guess what I ate. I GG after the second one but I
continued. LOL
I ate THREE prata, 2 spoonfuls of beehoon, 3/4
mini hashbrown PLUS the sides of french toast.
OMG hahahaha. Well, we ate 2 chicken wings
for dinner last night remember? LOL
I rolled the prata up like crepe with the curry
inside and chomped it. lol
We had a session by Jamie and then lunch!
I still ate you know. LOL
We crashed at the guy' bench and then Oliver
and I were playing the 成语 game alphabetically
because he didn't agree that my chinese was better
than his.
Oliver asked what's bitch in chinese.
Gareth and Janice said "母狗" Then oliver
repeated after them, "eh, 木狗"
Then, we took our almond cocktail.
I kope Oliver's longan but to OUR dismay, the
longan fell on the table. lol
Oliver said when i came back," you ask my mother
to scoop for you right?"
"NO, your mom scoop for me she asked me whether
I wanted more longan or almond!!!"
And then fr fred and his team had a session.
Parents were there and then there
was praying over. We went for pentential service
and read the letter written by our parents.
I cried already when I read the first line! LOL
I told Oliver," You've got a beautiful mother
(Aunty Sharon)" He read till the second page,
he wiped his face on his sleeve. Cry liao.
"Are you okay?" haha.
Then we sang this song while tears kept
streaming down your face. The marvels of the Lord.
Then is was sharing. Arnold got called by Fr Fred.
Then he had to call another person of the opps sex.
Nicole Samuel. Then she called Jeremiah. Then
Jeremiah pointed at me and said,"my group one la.
I don't know her name" LOL Fr Fred say," Jelena la.
Okay, Jelena come up." haha. I can't imagine I cried
while sharing. Well, if you were looked at by tens of
parents and hundred over people, yea.. lol
I said," Last night..." The the PRISONBREAKers
laughed so loudly. I said laughed too and said," no, no
not that one. Not prison break"
Then I called oliver, He cried at the end at his sharing
and he zao sia-ed. Charmaine was called by him and
she cried too. LOL then fr Fred called Aloysius and
Aloy said "I'm not gonna cry.." LOL
After break camp, we took pictures and fooleratives
headed to 401 for wings and milo again. Jan left
and Amanda(s) were there. haha. Yep, that's
my wonderful, beautiful, FULL of life and love
confirmation camp! What a pity it's only 2D1N
when we were just about to get to know people,
break camp le. haha. This is my longestest post btw!
